The Wells-Hussey American Legion Post 42, of Damariscotta, will host an American Legion 99th birthday party Sunday, March 18 at noon. A free birthday dinner will be served at 1 p.m. The dinner will include ham, macaroni and cheese, peas, rolls, and birthday cake.
All Legion members, Legion Auxiliary members, and Sons of American Legion members are invited. Also invited are all veterans and their families.
