Author and birder Derek Lovitch will speak about birdwatching in Maine at the Waldoboro Public Library on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 1:30 p.m. This program is presented by the Friends of the Waldoboro Public Library speaker series.
Lovitch is the author of “How to Be a Better Birder.” He has written for birding magazines and he also guides birders throughout Maine. He and his wife, Jeannette, own and operate Freeport Wild Bird Supply, an independent bird-feeding and birding specialty shop, and he guides throughout the state.
This event is free and open to the public. Lovitch’s books, “Birdwatching in Maine” and “How to Be a Better Birder,” will be available for purchase. For more information, call the library at 832-4484.
