Two Salty Dogs Pet Outfitters, at 22 McKown St. in Boothbay Harbor, will hold its fifth annual Mutt Scrub on Saturday, July 29. Festivities and scrubbing will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, July 30.
Not only will there be the scrubbing of mutts, but there will be competitions like the Doggie Talent Show, several rounds of Doggie Musical Chairs, dog nail-trimming, giveaways, raffle prizes, including six months of Blue Buffalo Pet Food, and lots of free swag. All donations received will go to benefit the Lincoln County Animal Shelter, lincoln.coastalhumanesociety.org.
For those who don’t have a dog but want to help, adoptable shelter dogs will be available for volunteers to scrub with a donation.
