The Medomak Valley Land Trust is celebrating 25 years of conservation with a special 25th-anniversary scavenger hunt for children throughout the region.
The scavenger hunt is open to kids of all ages and enrollment is free. Participants will receive points for visiting up to eight different trails in the land trust’s network in Friendship, Bremen, Waldoboro, and Union. Additional points are scored for finding nature-based scavenger hunt items on the trails.
This challenge provides a way to get families outdoors and provides a fun and exciting reason to visit new trails this summer. To participate, parents or children can email the office at info@medomakvalley.org for a detailed activity flyer or stop by the MVLT office at 25 Friendship St., Waldoboro in person to pick up a printed copy.
