Barbara Ross, the author of the Maine Clambake Series, will speak at the Bremen Public Library, located at 204 Waldoboro Road in Bremen, on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m.
Ross is the author of seven Clambake Mysteries. The eighth, “Sealed Off,” will be released in December. A new anthology, “Haunted House Murder,” will be released this month. Ross will speak about becoming a novelist later in life and how her series came to be.
Ross’s books have been nominated for multiple Agatha Awards for Best Contemporary Novel and have won the Maine Literary Award for Crime Fiction.
Ross and her husband live in Portland.
