The Newcastle Publick House will host a fundraiser for an organization fighting local food insecurity on Saturday, May 11.
The event continues the relationship between Newcastle Publick House and Go Big for Hunger, a nonprofit organization that partners with restaurants around Maine to raise funds to fight childhood hunger.
On Saturday evening, May 11, the Oysterhead Lounge – the space above the restaurant at Newcastle Publick House – will have a voluntary $5 cover. The All-Night Rascals will perform in the Oysterhead Lounge beginning at 8 p.m.
Funds raised from the event will be donated to support local school meal programs.
