On Saturday, Oct. 26, the Nobleboro Central School Parent Teacher Organization will host the third annual NobleBOOro Spooktacular at Nobleboro Central School from 4-7 p.m.
In addition to many fun Halloween-themed games, the event will feature a costume parade, a haunted library, a photo booth, silent auction items, and over 50 raffles. Food for sale will include chili, hot dogs, homemade macaroni and cheese, cornbread, apples, carrot sticks, popcorn, hot and cold cider, and a variety of desserts. One can purchase a meal selecting either chili, a hot dog, or mac and cheese; each “main course” will come with cornbread, carrots or an apple, and bottled water for $5, or items can be purchased a la carte.
Tickets will be five for $1 and can be used to play games or enter one’s name to win prizes being raffled off at the event. Most games will cost two or three tickets and one must be present to win a raffle item. The costume parade will start at 5 p.m., with all participants gathering in the music room to circle the stage and announce their name and costume. Raffles and the silent auction will end at 6:30 p.m., with winning items being projected on-screen starting at 6:40 p.m.
This event is open to the public and there is no admission fee to attend. All proceeds from the games, food sales, and raffles will go to support the Nobleboro Parent Teacher Organization, which in turn uses its funds to support programs and teacher initiatives at Nobleboro Central School.
