The next meeting of the Old Bristol Garden Club will occur on Thursday, April 12 at 1:30 p.m. at the Second Congregational Church, 51 Main St., Newcastle. Following a discussion of the club’s upcoming raffle and plant sale, Sarah Maurer will present a program on edible flowers.
As an owner of The 1812 Farm and Stone Cove Catering, located in Bristol Mills, Maurer will explain how flowers and herbs are used in food preparation for special events. In addition, she will offer suggestions for decorating both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
Following the program, tea and cookies will be served by this month’s tea committee, Peggy Farrell, Beth Printy, and Pat Schramm. All are welcome to attend and new members can join at any time.
If AOS 93 is closed due to inclement weather, the meeting will be cancelled as well.
