Oxbow Brewing Company, the farmhouse brewery located in Newcastle, will kick off the holiday season by offering special bottle pours at its Newcastle tasting room on Saturday, Nov. 26. Customers will be able to sample rare bottles no longer available for sale such as Momoko, Goods from the Woods, Funkhaus, and vintage Crossfade.

Oxbow Brewing Company is an American farmhouse brewery located on 18 acres in Newcastle that specializes in traditional Belgian-style ales with contemporary American influence. In addition to the brewery and tasting room, the property also includes recreational trails through the woods that are open to the public for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and snowshoeing. There is also a pond for swimming and skating, a fruit orchard, and a farm raising chickens, guinea hens, pigs, and Dizzy, the famous and well-loved Oxbow Brewing Company cat. Picnic tables enable customers to enjoy fresh draft beer and food in a unique and beautiful setting.
Oxbow beer is produced in two locations. The beer is brewed at the brewery, located at 274 Jones Woods Road in Newcastle, and aged, blended, and packaged at Oxbow Blending & Bottling, at 49 Washington Ave. Portland. Both locations have tasting rooms that are open to the public.
