The Barber’s Bunnies angora barn is changing the date of its usual Easter open house and hosting a pre-Easter open house instead on Sunday, April 9 from 1-3 p.m. at 844 Waldoboro Road in Bremen. Visitors will get a peek at Anna Barber’s huge, fuzzy angora rabbits and the items she makes from their fiber. Only adult rabbits are on the premises and one rabbit will get a much-needed haircut in a shearing demonstration.
Barber’s handcrafted goods, including painted yarn skeins; needle-felted bunnies; knitted hats, scarves, and shawls; and “nuno-felted” scarves and shawls will be for sale in the attached shop until 4 p.m.
Since no rabbits will be for sale that day, parents need not fear they will be bringing home a rabbit. Call 529-5977 for more information.
