A program on the familiar reptile species of Maine and ways to conserve them will be held at the Bremen Library, located at 204 Waldoboro Road in Bremen, on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m.
The program will be presented by Lee Emmons, of Newcastle. Emmons writes “Backyard Wildlife,” a nature column, for The Lincoln County News. A graduate of Colby College and the University of New England, Emmons has worked at many schools and nonprofit organizations. A backyard bird watcher and wildlife enthusiast, he is a writer, a speaker, and an amateur naturalist.
