Rising Tide Community Market in Damariscotta continues its summer Member-Owner Appreciation Week, which started Saturday, Aug. 12 and runs through Saturday, Aug. 19. Everyone in the community has been welcome to attend sampling events scheduled throughout the week.
On Saturday, Aug. 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Rosario’s will offer samples of pesto, which is made just down the road in Bristol.
Rising Tide Community Market is a natural food cooperative with 3,200-plus member-owners located at 323 Main St. in Damariscotta. All sampling events and raffles are free and open to the community. Member-owners of Rising Tide are eligible to receive 10 percent off one shopping trip during the week, but everyone is welcome to shop.
