The Attic-Basement-Closet Rummage Sale is on track to be one of the most well stocked in years. With so many people already calling to make their donation plans, the historic Washington Schoolhouse promises to be overflowing with priced-to-sell bargains and peninsula treasures.
The Round Pond Schoolhouse Association will host this annual event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 and 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, May 26. The Washington Schoolhouse is located at 1426 Route 32 in the heart of the village.
The remaining designated drop-off time is 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, May 23. For an alternate time, call 529-2008.
The schoolhouse board cannot accept TVs, computers, large appliances, clothing, CDs, and books.
The Round Pond Schoolhouse Association will use all funds raised toward the continuing the restoration of the Washington Schoolhouse and fulfilling the mission to maintain this 19th century landmark as a museum for displaying local historical articles and a place to provide educational, cultural, and community events for Round Pond Village.
