The Damariscotta Historical Society will hold its last meeting of 2017 on Monday, Nov. 20 at the Damariscotta town hall meeting room on School Street. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. The program will be presented by Mark Biscoe, local marine historian, of Brunswick, formerly of Waldoboro. Biscoe has written books about the maritime history in the Damariscotta area, as well as in Waldoboro. His talk to the historical society will based on interesting stories about old baseball teams in the general area. Refreshments will be served. Following intermission will be the monthly business meeting.
