Sheepscott Community Church, Newcastle.
From 5–7 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, Sheepscott Community Church will host a community supper and barbecue at its valley church, 8 The Kings Highway, Newcastle. Grilled meats, buns, homemade baked beans, and a variety of salads and sides, desserts, and beverages will be available. There will be inside and outside seating, weather permitting. A free-will offering is asked.
For the rest of the summer, Sheepscott Community Church will hold traditional baked bean suppers at the Sheepscot Clubhouse, at 619 Sheepscot Road in Newcastle, from 5–7 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month: July 8, Aug. 12, and Sept. 9.
