One can enjoy self-service at the Simply Supper free meal at Bremen Union Church on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
On Tuesday, Jan. 16 from 5:30-6:30 p.m., the Bremen area community is invited to attend the first of four free hot social meals to be held at the Bremen Union Church, 523 Waldoboro Road, Bremen. This dinner will be hosted by Donna Finneran, who will answer any questions one may have regarding the event. The menu will include chicken pot pies, hot vegetables, salad, rolls, desserts, and beverage. Working with her will be Marie Hall, Gordon Isleib, and Christine Duffy. There will be time to visit on this cold winter night, as the hymn sing is scheduled for later in the month, weather permitting. All area people are invited to attend.
People should contact Finneran at 529-6318 by Sunday night prior to the supper if they know of area folks who are house-bound and might appreciate a hot meal delivered to their home.
The Bremen Union Church has a handicapped entrance on the north side of the building.
People are asked to let Finneran know if they would like to help with this meal in any way.
Contributions to further missions are accepted but never expected.
