The South Bristol Historical Society will host its first Trivia Night at Coveside Marina & Restaurant, at 105 Coveside Road, Rutherford Island (South Bristol), on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m. People are encouraged to come and show off their knowledge of South Bristol while they enjoy food and drink. Questions range from historical knowledge — “Prior to 1940, the Coveside Inn was known as what house?” — while others test current knowledge and observation skills: “South Bristol’s annual town meeting is held in what month?”
The winning team will receive a $100 gift certificate to Coveside Marina & Restaurant. One does not need to be a historical society member to participate and all are welcome.
