St. Giles’ Episcopal Church, located at 72 Gardiner Road/Route 126 in Jefferson, will host the first of its free 2017 wintertime suppers for Midcoast Maine residents at 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14.
Getting through winters in Maine is a challenge for many of us, and St. Giles’ Episcopal Church’s response is to offer free suppers one Saturday per month, January through March. All are invited for simple, hearty fare that is served in the parish hall. No reservations are needed. Featured on Jan. 14 will be stuffed pasta shells, salad, bread, dessert, and a beverage.
Anyone who could use a hot meal is invited. Please let others in the community know of these suppers. The dates for future suppers are Feb. 11 and March 11.
