St. Giles’ Episcopal Church in Jefferson will host the first of its free 2018 wintertime suppers for Midcoast residents on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 5 p.m.
Winter in Maine is always a challenge, and St. Giles’ Episcopal Church’s response is to offer free suppers monthly during the season. All are invited for simple, hearty fare that is served in the parish hall. No reservations are needed. Featured in January will be shepherd’s pie, including a vegetarian version, plus salad, bread, dessert, and a beverage.
All who could use a hot meal are welcome, and encouraged to bring a friend.
St. Giles’s Episcopal Church is located at 72 Gardiner Road, Jefferson.
