The first event in the church’s summer supper series, the goal of which is raising funds for the St. Philip’s Steeple Fund, is on Monday, July 17, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Located at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, at 12 Hodge St. in Wiscasset, the supper will feature spaghetti. The price for the dinner is up to the attendee, and while the church hopes those taking part will donate substantially, if one does not have generous means, they are still invited come and take part. Everyone should give what they can and have a tasty meal.
In order to honor people’s various dietary needs, in addition to regular wheat pasta, there will be a gluten-free alternative. Both plain sauce and a vegetable sauce will be available, with meatballs on the side. Tossed salad, French bread — garlic or plain – a choice of beverage, and homemade desserts will round out the menu.
