The public is invited to come to The Lincoln Home in Newcastle from 3-4 p.m., Monday, Dec. 5 for a free presentation by Mark Biscoe. The author of “No Pluckier Set of Men Anywhere,” Biscoe will share the stories of Elbridge Norris, Abner Stetson, and Benjamin Day Metcalf, three of the earliest shipbuilders along the Damariscotta River.
