Shoppers check out hand-crafted items made by the Ladies Organ Society.
On Saturday, July 22, the Wiscasset Common in Wiscasset will come alive with the activities of Summerfest. Music by a ragtime band, a Scottish piper, a barbershop quartet, or a guitar-playing college student may fill the air. Crafts made by the Ladies Organ Society will be for sale, as well as yard sale items, treasures, plants, baked goods, wood products, and toys. The Uncommon Cafe will serve hamburgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches. A silent auction will be held featuring a new L.L.Bean kayak and a new fire pit with insurance, among other wonderful items. Children’s events and the annual dog show and parade will round out the day’s activities.
