“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” premieres at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 24 at The Harbor Theatre, located at the junction of routes 27 and 96 in Boothbay Harbor.
Batman and Superman are on screen together for the first time in this new $200 million superhero extravaganza, the follow-up to 2013’s “Man of Steel.” This is also the first theatrical release to feature live-action portrayals of Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash, and Cyborg.
In this film, Batman (played by Ben Affleck) seeks to preemptively battle Superman (Henry Cavill) after the destruction caused in “Man of Steel.” The film also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
“Batman v Superman” is rated PG-13, and will play Thursday, March 24 through Saturday, March 26 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 27 at 2 p.m. This film will also be showing at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 30 through Saturday, April 2 at 7 p.m.
