A blue tang fish stars in this summer’s biggest blockbuster, “Finding Dory,” continuing this week at The Harbor Theatre.
Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) is a wide-eyed, blue tang fish who suffers from memory loss every 10 seconds or so. The one thing she can remember is that she somehow became separated from her parents as a child. With help from her friends Nemo and Marlin, Dory embarks on an epic adventure to find them. Her journey brings her to the Marine Life Institute, a conservatory that houses diverse ocean species. Dory now knows that her family reunion will only happen if she can save her mom and dad from captivity.
Featuring the voice talents of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Hayden Rolence, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Diane Keaton, Sigourney Weaver, Willem Dafoe, Allison Janney, and Eugene Levy, “Finding Dory” is rated PG. It plays nightly at 7 p.m. through Thursday, July 21, and also at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 17.
Coming at 9 p.m., Thursday, July 21: a “sneak preview” premiere of “Star Trek Beyond” with Chris Pine, which opens officially at 7 p.m., Friday, July 22.
