One can ride the steam train to have a visit with Santa Claus and enjoy a horse drawn-sleigh ride this weekend in Alna. The Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum has added additional tickets for its Victorian Christmas trains on Saturday, Dec. 23. Walk-up tickets will be available on Saturday and reservations are once again available at wwfrytickets.simpletix.com.
All tickets, whether reserved or walk-up, are entirely free of charge. Additionally, reserved tickets that have not been picked up 15 minutes prior to departure will be redistributed to walk-up passengers.
Last Saturday, Dec. 16, the wait for tickets was no more than five minutes, lines were short, and trains were comfortable. Attractions and refreshments will be available prior to boarding at Sheepscot Station, 97 Cross Road, Alna.
