United States Power Squadrons is offering two boating classes through RSU 1 Adult Education at Wiscasset High School.
The “Marine Weather” course focuses on how weather systems form, behave, move, and interact with one another. The course benefits those sitting in their living rooms as much as those standing behind the helm of a boat.
The eight-week class starts Wednesday March 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Overwhelmed by all those functions on your GPS or Chart Plotter? “Marine Electronic Navigation” covers the topics you need and want to know. Class starts Thursday, March 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and runs for seven weeks.
Each course costs $95, or $80 for United States Power Squadrons members.
