A section of Biscay Road in Damariscotta will be closed Sept. 27-28 for the replacement of a culvert, according to the Maine Department of Transportation and the town of Damariscotta.
The Maine Department of Transportation will close the section of Biscay Road from the headquarters of Colby & Gale Inc. at 154 Biscay Road to the Hagar Enterprises Inc. lot at 162 Biscay Road beginning at 6 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Motorists can detour around the construction via Main Street, Back Meadow Road, and Standpipe Road. Signs will be posted.
The road will reopen at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 28.
