The driver of a FedEx truck was taken to the hospital with neck and chest pain after, due to icy conditions, the truck crashed into a tree on Kingfisher Road, near Pemaquid Point, on Friday, March 1.
Wade Gould, 36, of Lisbon Falls, was delivering packages at the time of the accident, according to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Alonzo Connor. He was driving toward Route 130.
Gould was wearing a seat belt and the truck’s air bag deployed, Connor said. Gould was transported to LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus. He has since been discharged, according to the hospital.
Lincoln County Communications dispatched the Bristol Fire Department and the Central Lincoln County Ambulance Service at 12:11 p.m.
The road was sanded after the crash.
