A Ford SUV struck a garage door and continued almost all the way through a garage in Nobleboro the afternoon of Friday, Dec. 2. There were no life-threatening injuries in the accident, which appears to have been caused by a medical event.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Detective Jared Mitkus said no one was inside of the garage at 173 Upper East Pond Road at the time of the accident.
The detective said the three occupants of the vehicle, all elderly individuals, were evaluated at the scene by first responders with the Central Lincoln County Ambulance Service and Waldoboro Emergency Medical Services.
Neither their identities nor information about their injuries was immediately available.
