A Wiscasset pedestrian sustained serious injuries when a vehicle struck him on Gardiner Road in Wiscasset the afternoon of Tuesday, April 3.
Bernard Koehling, 82, of Wiscasset, was rushed to Maine Medical Center in Portland, according to a statement by Wiscasset Police Chief Jeffrey E. Lange.
The statement described Koehling’s injuries as life-threatening. Koehling was in fair condition Wednesday, April 11, according to a Maine Medical Center spokeswoman.
Chad Breton, 37, of Wiscasset was the driver, Lange said. He is cooperating with the investigation.
Bath Police Detective Sgt. Andrew Booth is assisting with the investigation and reconstruction.
