Ada L. Bond, 85, of Jefferson and Florida, died Oct. 22 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Florida. She was born in Ipava, Ill. and lived in Florida since 1947, coming from Illinois. Before retiring to become a homemaker, she was a specialty saleswoman for fine jewelry.
She was predeceased by her husband, H. Raymond Bond; stepson, H. Raymond “Rusty” Bond, Jr.; and brother, Marshall Lindsey.
Survivors include her son, Lindsey M. Bond of Stuart, Fla.; stepson, P. Delbert Bond of Spring City, Tenn.; sister, Juanita Hallis; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and several other family members in Jefferson.

Memorial service 2 p.m., Sat., Nov. 14 at the Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro. Burial will follow in the Village Cemetery in Jefferson.
