Albert H. Cullen, 90, of Nashua, N.H. and Round Pond, died on July 25 at his home in Nashua, N.H. He was born on Jan. 1, 1923 in Woburn, Mass., son of the late James and Hazel (Holman) Cullen.
He was the husband Joyce (Munsey) Cullen, whom he married on Feb. 27, 1943 in Swanville.
Albert grew up in Stoneham, Mass. and graduated from Stoneham High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the South Pacific during WWII.
He lived in New Harbor after the war, and later moved to Massachusetts. He lived in Framingham, Mass. for 50 years where he served in the town government for many years.
Albert graduated from Northeastern Law School and practiced law in Massachusetts. He retired from The Raytheon Company where he worked for 37 years.
He spent summers at his house in Round Pond, where he enjoyed spending time with his family.
His mother, Hazel, as well as his brother, James Cullen, and sister, Florence (Cullen) Layman, predeceased him.
Along with his wife of 70 years, Joyce, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jane (Cullen) McOsker and Fred of Nashua, N.H.; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Cullen and Janet of Nashua, N.H.; grandsons and spouses, Paul Cullen and Aimee Christian of Muespach, France, David Cullen and Julie of Burlington, Mass.; great-grandchildren, Seth Cullen and Fiona Cullen, both of Muespach, France, and Thomas Cullen and Shane Cullen, both of Burlington, Mass.; and step-grandchildren, Allyson McOsker, Matthew McOsker, and Kerry McOsker.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family at New Harbor Cemetery in New Harbor.
