Alice M. Call, 83, of Dresden, died unexpectedly on Dec. 23 at her home.
She was born in East Millinocket on Aug. 25, 1925, the daughter of Harry and Sadie Tarbox. She graduated from Madawaska High School in 1944.
On July 19, 1954, she married Lawrence M. Call Sr. in St. Johnsbury, Vt. They made their home in Dresden.
She was a longtime member of the Bowdoinham Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday school.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence, on Jan. 24, 1995.
She is survived by two sons, Lawrence Call Jr. of Richmond, and Robert Call and wife Ethel of Dresden; stepson, Ronald Call and wife Sharon of Greene; two brothers, Gilbert Tarbox and wife Ruby of Richmond, and Herbert Tarbox and wife Polly of Gardiner; sister-in-law, Barbara Tarbox of Oregon; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place in the spring.
