Ann O’Keefe, of Waldoboro, passed away March 11. She was born in Englewood, N.J. on Aug. 12, 1961.
Ann was well-educated and trained as a nurse, working in hospitals with geriatrics and as a traveling nurse. She married Richard in 1996 at the Bear Mountain Inn in New York state. They decided to move to Maine in 1999 so they could see the pine cones on the trees.
Ann was a wonderful cook and gardener. She loved all animals and they had cats, goats and chickens. They traveled the world together to wonderful places such as China, Alaska, Europe and South America.
Ann is predeceased by her parents, Anna and Henry Peter of Germany.
She leaves her husband of 21 years, Richard of Waldoboro; and brother, Henry of Florida.
