Anne A. (Kimball) Perkins, 78, of Dresden, died Feb. 5 at the MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. She was born in Richmond on Jan. 11, 1932, a daughter of George and Rena (Ludwig) Kimball.
Anne was a 1949 graduate of Richmond High School. She enjoyed homemaking; her home was her biggest joy. She enjoyed gardening and yard work. Anne was devoted to her family and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and wife.
She was predeceased by her sister, Jean Hutchings of Waldoboro.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Clyde A. Perkins of Dresden; son, Wayne Perkins and companion Sharon Card of Chelsea; daughters, Pamela Sansouci and husband Jeffery of Randolph, and Peggy Mower of Dresden; sister, Lois Fournier of Brunswick; grandchildren, Angie G. Perkins, Wayne A. Perkins Jr., Chris H. Perkins, John A. Perkins, Sarah A. Harris, Brian M. Hanson, Nicholas C. Sansouci, and Danny Pallis; great-grandchildren, Ayden P. Reardon, John A. Perkins Jr., Olivia R. Harris, Hallie Powell, and Alestare Fitch; and several nieces and nephews.
Private visiting hours. Funeral service Feb. 9 at Staples Funeral Home, Gardiner. Burial will be later in the spring in the Forest Grove Cemetery in West Dresden.
