Annetta B. Morton, 94, died May 15 at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor. She was born on Loud’s Island Aug. 11, 1918 to Alden and Inez Carter Collamore. She grew up in Round Pond and attended local schools.
She moved to Boothbay where she met and married Milan B. Morton. She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family. She enjoyed knitting, embroidery, handwork, reading and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Milan B. Morton Sr., and several siblings.
She is survived by sons, Milan Morton Jr. of Wiscasset, Maynard Morton of Westport, and David Morton of Trevett; daughters, Helen Mackenzie of Alna, Isabelle Howe of Lewiston, Nancy Leavitt of Boothbay Harbor, and Ruth Balston of Boothbay Harbor; 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private service at the Wylie Cemetery on Sat., May 18.
