Mr. Anthony “Andy” Staples, 55, of Warren, died at his home on April 14.
Andy was born in Rockland on Sept. 22, 1958 and was the son of the late Bertha Smith Church. He attended and graduated with the Rockland High School “Class of 1976.” Andy was a former member of the U.S. Army. He was employed with various businesses in the Rockland area as a custodian. Andy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his stepfather, Malcolm Church.
He is survived by sons, Ryan Staples of Brazil, and Nathan Staples of Warren; stepson, Joseph Decibus of Cherryfield; daughters, Karena Staples of Warren, and Kristen Staples of Bremen; brothers, John Staples of Warren, and Roland Staples of Rockland; nine grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Andy’s life will be held at a later date and will be announced by Hall Funeral Home of Waldoboro.
