Archie Paul Miller Sr., 71, of Waldoboro, passed away Dec. 4 at the Cove’s Edge Skilled Nursing Facility in Damariscotta.
Archie was born July 13, 1939 in Rockland, a son of George and Evangeline Murray Miller.
Archie was educated in Belfast, graduating from Belfast High School. Following graduation, Archie was foreman at Fort Halifax, maintenance supervisor at Medomak Canning Factory, and supervisor at Best Felts in Waldoboro.
He was predeceased by his father, George Miller.
Survivors include mother, Evangeline Thibodeau of Topsham; children, Archie Miller Jr. and wife LeeAnn of Readfield, Tonya Miller of Arizona, Melissa Ruth and husband Michael of Winthrop, Shanondore Fuller and husband Edgar of Norridgewock, Tanya Miller and partner Mark Levin of Searsmont and Adam Miller and partner Tammy Ames of Newcastle; grandchildren, Holly York of Fayette, Heather Miller of Columbia Falls, Amanda and Tyler Gosselin of Augusta, Alex Gosselin of Winthrop, Johnathon Fuller of Norridgewock, Anastasia Levin of Searsmont, Samantha Saunders of Phoenix, Ariz., Charlotte May Steele of Phoenix, Ariz., Aaron and Logan Miller of Richmond and Courtney Ruth of Winthrop; brother, Ronald Miller of Glen Dale, Ariz., sisters, Starr Jones, of Harpswell, Leta Ahearn of Maine and Estelle Werly of Maine; and faithful companion, Brandy the dog.
At Archie’s request, there will be no funeral service. There will be a private graveside service at Mon., Dec. 13 at the Achorn Cemetery in Rockland.
Celebration of Archie’s life 11 a.m., Sat., Dec. 18 at his home, 186 ½ Jackson Rd., Waldoboro.
