Ashton Michael O’Hara, 3 months, of South Thomaston, died unexpectedly on Sept. 23 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport.
Born June 5, 2007, he was the son of Michael J. O’Hara, Jr. and Kristina D. Winchenbach. He brought great joy and happiness to his family.
Ashton will be sadly missed by his mother, Kristina and father, Michael of South Thomaston; big sister, Makayla Kristina O’Hara; big brother, Tyler Randal Simmons, both of South Thomaston; maternal grandparents, Dale Winchenbach of Waldoboro, and Debbie Winchenbach of Friendship; paternal grandparents, Michael J. O’Hara, Sr. of Rockland, and Deborah M. and the late Herbert Damon of Owls Head; maternal great-grandparents, Beatrice Winchenbach, and Ronald and Patricia Genthner, all of Waldoboro; paternal great-grandparents, Jean Porter O’Hara of Rockland, Marion McMahan of Owls Head, and Donald McMahan, Sr. and wife Judy of Owls Head; paternal great-great-grandmother, Muriel Tierila of Warren; aunts and uncles, Dale R. Damon, Casey Tolman, both of Owls Head, Harley Winchenbach, Dale Winchenbach, Nickie Robbins, Chasity Robbins, Danielle Simmons Ward, and Joshua Ellis, all of Waldoboro; as well as many cousins.
An hour of visiting 10-11 a.m., Sat., Sept. 29 at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland, with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at the Winchenbach Cemetery in Waldoboro.
