Audrey Woolley, 79, of Friendship, formerly of Brick, N.J., passed away peacefully May 2 at her home with family by her side.
She was born on March 17, 1935 in Long Branch, N.J. to H. Herbert and Florence Allen. She grew up in Manasquan, N.J. She married Richard Woolley whom she met in Manasquan.
She worked for the Bank of New York in Wall Township for 15 years until she retired to Maine with her husband in 1996. She was a member of the Friendship United Methodist Church. She loved cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Richard “Rit” Woolley.
She is survived by her two daughters and five grandchildren, Karen Venerable, husband Robert and their children, Shawn, Kyle, and Dana, all of Brick, N.J.; Melody Mazzoni, husband Dean and their children, Dean Jr., and Amanda, all of Toms River, N.J.; and brother, Jack Allen and wife Bonnie of Boothbay.
A service to celebrate Audrey’s life will be held 6 p.m., Tues., May 6 at the Friendship United Methodist Church in Friendship. Rev. Robert Dorr will officiate.
