Barbara Louise Foley, 92, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away peacefully July 2 at Cove’s Edge, in Damariscotta. Barbara was born on Aug. 11, 1921 in Pepperell, Mass., the daughter of Phillip H. and Annie Louise (Brewer) Little. She attended Boothbay Region High School.
Barbara was a member of the United Methodist Church in Boothbay Harbor. She was also very active in the Coastal Club, and Senior Citizens, and was a member of the America Legion Auxiliary. She was also a former member of The Monday Club, and the Pythian Sisters. She enjoyed being a homemaker and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Lee Lorrain of Boothbay Harbor; son, Dennis Connors of Wilmington, N.C.; sister, Beatrice Schumacher of Palm Coast, Fla.; two half-sisters; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; as well as many friends.
There will be a private family graveside service later this summer.
