Betty Ann Koehling, 70, of Wiscasset, died Feb. 25 at her residence.
She was born in Camden, June 12, 1937, a daughter of Walker A. and Sylvia M. (Genthner) McLeod.
She graduated from Wiscasset Academy in 1955 and attended nursing school.
On Aug. 3, 1956, she married Bernard G. Koehling Jr. and was employed at the telephone company in Portland and Bath. She was then employed as a waitress at Casey’s Diner in Wiscasset and for Dr. Quick in his dentist office for 6 years.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Wiscasset.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, gardening and helping people.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard G. Koehling Jr. of Wiscasset; sons, Bernard G. Koehling III of Arizona, and Charles Koehling of Wiscasset; daughter, Laurie Rector and husband Ronald of Houston, Tex.; brother, Edward McLeod and wife Susan of West Bath; sister, Connie Dalton of Wiscasset; mother-in-law, Louisa Koehling of Wiscasset; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral 2 p.m., Sun., March 2 at the Church of the Nazarene in Wiscasset with Pastor Wally Staples officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Church Fellowship Hall. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in the spring.
