Bluebear Joshua Lalli, nine months and 18 days, passed away peacefully on Oct. 16 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.
Born Dec. 28, 2006, Bluebear was the son of Matthew E. and Tina York Lalli.
Although Bluebear’s life was short in years, he brought so much happiness to those who loved him. He had a beautiful smile that would warm one’s heart and he will be sadly missed by all who loved him. He was a precious soul who was swept from the arms of his loved ones to those in heaven who were watching over him.
Survivors include his parents of Waldoboro; sister, Qiana-arazara Lee Lalli of Waldoboro; maternal grandparents, Benjamin York of Jefferson, and Clover York of Jay; paternal grandparents, Cathy Penn and companion Fred Ryan of Waldoboro, Louis Lalli of New Hampshire; great-grandparents, Ed and Olive Lalli of Maynard, Mass., and Carl Watson of Boothbay Harbor; maternal great-grandmother, Joan Barnes of Worcester, Mass.; paternal great-grandmother, Lucille Johnson of Worcester, Mass.; many aunts and uncles; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to send a special thank you to his Godmother, Gayle Goggin, and good friends, Dr. Shannon Carr, Dr. Russ, Dr. Fader, Ruth Griffin and Tammy Elliot.
Service held Oct. 22 in the Chapel at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Visiting hours 10:30-11:30, Wed., Oct. 24 at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home in Skowhegan followed by burial in the Mount Rest Cemetery in Athens.
