Bonnie Lou Cunningham, 78, of Nobleboro, passed away at her home on the evening of April 29, 2024 after a period of declining health, with her loving daughter by her side.
Bonnie was born in Damariscotta on Dec. 18, 1945, where she attended local schools. She graduated from Lincoln Academy. As a single mother of three, she worked as a skilled welder for both Bath Iron Works and Washburn & Doughty Shipyards.
She loved to be outside and work in her yard. Whether it was cleaning up, or setting up her many lawn ornaments, she would be outside almost daily. In addition to her yard, she loved her many dogs.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Philip York; and sister, Joanne Seavey.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Wallace, of Nobleboro; sons, Richard Cunningham, of Texas, and Philip Cunningham, of Portland; grandchildren, John Cunningham, Kody Wallace, and Kolt Wallace; and great-grandchildren, Levi Wallace and Kailey Cunningham.
She will be remembered privately by her family.
