
Bruce F. Nichols, 51, of Waldoboro, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 8 at his home.
Bruce was born on Aug. 28, 1966 in Medway, Mass. to Bruce Nichols and Charlotte Frances Szymamski Nichols.
He grew up in Waldoboro and attended local schools, including Medomak Valley High School.
Bruce worked as a clammer and also fished out of New Bedford, Mass. He loved caring for his animals, he trained race horses in Florida and was a pet lover. Bruce was out-going, helpful and was always there for others.
Bruce is predeceased by brothers, Peter Collins, Chris Nichols, and Scott Nichols.
He is survived by wife, April Nichols of Waldoboro; daughters, Breanna Nichols of Waldoboro, and Charlotte Nichols of Warren; mother, Charlotte Nichols of Waldoboro; brothers, Tom Nichols of South China, Steve Collins of Waldoboro, and Billy Collins of Appleton; and sister, Kelly Nichols of Waldoboro.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m., Fri., Dec. 15 at Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro.
