Carolyn was the amateur photographer of the family, with collections of photographs from her childhood until her final travels around the country years ago. She documented birthdays, anniversaries, road trips, and everyday life with her camera. Carolyn was also an avid painter, gifting many of her works to friends and family over the years. She knit personalized Christmas stockings for each member of the family, and newcomers knew they were considered family when they were gifted with a stocking with their name on it.
