Charles Nathaniel Jewett, 92, lifelong resident of Alna, died at his home on Oct. 29, surrounded by his family.
Born July 12, 1925, he served in the U.S. Navy “Seabees” during WWII.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Merle R. Jewett; four children; and a mess of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
