Charles W. Rambo, 73, of Honesdale, Penn., passed away on March 8.
Charles was a graduate of The Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades in Media, Penn., and a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.
He was a past Master (1965) of the Free and Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania, Palestine-Roxborough Lodge 135, located in Philadelphia. In 2002 he transferred his affiliation to Lodge 218 located in Honesdale, Penn.
Charles was an employee of Bell Atlantic/Verizon retiring after 33 years service. An accomplished craftsman, he owned and operated Rambo’s Clock Repair, repairing and restoring antique and rare clocks well into his retirement years.
A passionate model railroader, he enjoyed volunteering his time at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania located in nearby Strasburg, Penn.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, Michael Rambo of New York, N.Y.; daughter, Cheryl and husband Kenneth Seiders, Jr. of South Bristol; and grandchildren, Colyn, Danielle and Aiden.
Charles was cremated. A graveside service will be held this summer.
