Charlotte W. Farrin, 102, of South Portland, died March 23 at Evergreen Manor in Saco.
Mrs. Farrin was born in Damariscotta, a daughter of Harvey Elmer and Marian Palmer Dunbar Winslow, and was educated in the Damariscotta schools. She graduated from Lincoln Academy in Newcastle in the Class of 1925.
Charlotte lived in South Bristol from 1923 to 1933 and came to South Portland with her husband and three children.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church in South Portland for over 50 years and a member of the Matrons of Meeting House Hill. She was a member of the Osewantha Garden Club in South Portland where she was a flower show judge and the Longfellow Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening herself and was a member the Elizabeth Wadsworth Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Predeceasing her was a son Harvey U. Farrin in 1988.
She was the widow of Alton E. Farrin who died in 1992.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. William (Patricia) Hutchins of Shapleigh and Joyce Lawton of Olympia, Wash.; half sister, Arrolyn Gilbert of New Harbor; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at the Hillside Cemetery in Damariscotta at a later date.
