Chassidy Marie Burns, 30, of Waldoboro, died unexpectedly Sept. 12 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta. She was born Feb. 7, 1979 in Rockport, a daughter of Eugene F. Winchenbach, Jr. and Joy Pendexter Creamer.
Chassidy grew up in Waldoboro and graduated from Medomak Valley High School. She attended Johnson & Wales Culinary School in Rhode Island.
She was a loving mother to her five children. Her children were her life. She had a good sense of humor.
She is survived by her children, Keanna Burns, Amber Burns, Dakota Burns, Zachary Burns and Elijah Burns, all of Waldoboro; mother, Joy L. Creamer of Waldoboro; father, Eugene F. Winchenbach, Jr. of Appleton; sisters, Amanda Pease of Waldoboro, Stacy Pease of Waldoboro, Lisa Pease of Searsmont, and Heidi Winchenbach of Appleton; brothers, Eugene F. Winchenbach III of Thomaston, and Larry York of Warren; uncles, Carroll Pendexter, Jr. of Waldoboro, Nelson Pendexter of South China, and Ralph Pendexter of Rockland; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial service 2 p.m., Thurs., Sept. 17 at the Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro. Rev. Robert Dorr will officiate.
